it is surprising how inviting it is to just go for a ride when you have a machine like the R850R at your disposal.somehow, it seems to be much more effortless than anything else in the garage. It has a relatively low seat height, it has storage capacity, it requires no special care, and it is competent around town or in the country, or on the interstate. With all of the major issues sorted, the machine was the first choice for a few hours at the end of a perfect summer day. It handles surprisingly well, and a stretch of twisties pointed out how easy would be to touch down the cylinders. Perhaps the only small complaint is that you really need to gear down in order to pass cars with gusto.
