In a silly garage accident, an item fell against the covered car. It did no damage to the body, thanks to the cover, but it pulled and bent the trim on the drivers side of the hood. No worries, I found one in due course, and planned the quick install. That was over a year ago. In any case, the old trim was missing one of the tiny nuts used to secure the ends of the trim. There was also one missing on the car, so it was off to the parts bins to see if I had one. After an hour, I located a small bag of trim clips, and included was the elusive nut. Replacement was quick and easy, and the used trim was consistent with the vehicle’s patina.
